Volunteer / Fundraising Requirements *

I understand that each player (parent or otherwise) is required to complete a set number of volunteer hours and fundraising activities determined by the Board of Directors. Furthermore, I understand that two post-dated cheques in the amounts of $300 (March 15, 2025) and $100 (December 15, 2024) are to be forwarded to the Treasurer by my child's first skate or my player will not be allowed on the ice. If the set number of hours is not completed, I understand my post-dated volunteer cheque will be cashed on or around March 15, 2025. Each season there is a need to raise additional funds to cover costs such as home tournaments and program enhancements. Program enhancements include training for coaches, hockey development (power skating and goalie clinics), jersey and equipment replacement, and unexpected or unforeseen costs that may arise. For the 2024/2025 season Crossfield Minor Hockey is planning a couple association-wide fundraisers, the main one being a raffle with the expectation that each player will sell 10 tickets at $10 per ticket. This year, the association will be piloting a fundraising deposit program to assist with ensuring our fundraising goals are met to help keep registration fees to a minimum. I understand that if I do not sell my player’s allotment of tickets, my post-dated fundraising cheque will be cashed on or around December 15, 2024. I am aware that these are CMHA commitments and are not the same as individual team commitments.

Please bring your post-dated cheques in the amounts of $300 (March 15, 2025) and $100 (December 15, 2024) to your child's first skate.
A board member will be there to collect them. If you have more than one player, please have separate cheques for each player in the amounts of $300 and $100 each.

Players will NOT be allowed to participate in evaluations or regular sessions until these cheques have been received by the Board of Directors.
